The Blood Moons Are Coming!!

What are the signs in the heavens?



Matthew 24:3 - 8
Later, Jesus sat on the slopes of the Mount of Olives.  His disciples came to him privately and asked, "When will all this take place?  And will there be any sign ahead of time to signal your return and the end of the world?"
Jesus told them, "Don't let anyone mislead you.  For many will come in my name saying, 'I am the Messiah.'  They will  lead many astray.  And wars will break out near and far, but don't panic.  Yes, these things must come, but the end won't follow immediately.  The nations and kingdoms will proclaim war against each other, and there will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world.  But all this will be only the beginning of the horrors to come."
 The blood moons phenomenon have brought everything to the forefront of our everyday lives.  Are we looking for a false peace in the Middle East that's being orchestrated by US Secretary of State John Kerry?  Are we looking for a major, major conflict, maybe between Israel and their neighbors?

We're looking at a strong leader in Russia, a weak leader in America, a once-in-a-lifetime leader in Israel, the situation in Iran.  It's hard not to look at all the pieces and jump to a conclusion that we're very close to seeing war.

We now see the vise that is being set up for Israel, which is surrounded by enemies.  The world is turning against.  And one friend, the US, is no longer by their side.

The blood moon tetrad is a series of four eclipses that will occur this year on two Jewish holy days and again next year on the same Jewish holy days.

The last time the same sequence happened was in 1967 and 1968, when Israel recaptured Jerusalem in the Six-Day War.  Before that, it was in the 1940s, when Israel was born.

It didn't happen in the 1800s, not in the 1700s.  Not even in the 1600s.

It did occur in the 1400s, in 1493 and 1494, when the Jews were expelled from Spain.

"Four total lunar eclipses happening the next two years herald possible war in the Middle East as well as global economic collapse," according to Pastor Mark Biltz.

He says historically, this sequence of solar eclipses has been a sign foretelling important eventsd such as the destruction of the Temple of Jerusalem.

"Two happened right in a row at the time of destruction of the temple of 70 A.D. and on feast days," he said.

Pastor John Hagee of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas, agrees that "something is looming."  He was interviewed by CBN News to discuss the significance of four eclipses that will take place on the Jewish Passovers, April 15, 2014 and April 4, 2015 and the Feasts of Tabernacles, October 8, 2014 and September 28, 2015.



In his new book, Four Blood Moons:  Something is About to Change, he confirms that significant events relating to the Jewish nation have happened each time the eclipses line up.  "This is something that just is beyond coincidental,"  explains Pastor Hagee.

Immediately after those horrible days end, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of heaven will be shaken.  And then at last, the sign of the coming of the Son of Man will appear in the heavens, and there will be deep mourning among all the nations of the earth.  And they will see the Son of Man arrive on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.  And he will send forth his angels with the sound of a mighty trumpet blast, and they will gather together his chosen ones from the farthest ends of the earth and heaven.

BLOOD MOON SIGNS: What Does It Mean?

  There has been a lot of talk and discussion about the Blood Moons phenomenon this year.   Every time you turn around someone's posting a video or blog about them.   But what does this mean to you, to Israel, or to the world? We know the first blood moon is April 15, 2014.   And that is the date on the Gregorian calendar.   This is the calendar you and I use every day.    Basically, it is the world's calendar.   But there is another calendar, the Hebrew calendar used by Israel.   However, the Hebrew calendar is God's calendar.   So, April 15, 2014 is also Nisan 15, 5774 which seems strange to us, but not to God or the Jews.   God has been using His calendar since the beginning of time! In the Bible when God was freeing the Israelites from Egypt, He told Moses about His 'feasts' and 'seasons', which in Hebrew is translated as the word 'moed'. Moed means 'divine appointment'.
